Leadership for economic impact
Leadership for economic impact
Pakistan requires outstanding leaders. I'm referring to those that have a positive effect on Pakistani businesses and make it possible for foreign investments to advance the country, creating employment opportunities for many. They promote prosperity and serve as ambassadors for the nation on international stages. The only question that needs to be answered is how their leadership is the driving force behind so much positive change in Pakistan. We will cruise through a very interesting conversation with such a leader for better comprehension.
Leadership: In recent years, particularly in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, the term itself has undergone significant revision. Geographical boundaries were rendered meaningless and isolated islands of excellence were challenged. Attendance turned into online accessibility, and the workforce became skilled. Instead of working hours, deliverables were quantifiable through profit margins and achievement of specific objectives. Rethinking evaluations was required. This resulted in modifications to privileges and portfolios.
To be honest, we are unsure of which paradigm will be most successful during the world's current recalibration. In a world that is getting more and more competitive, Pakistan will need the best leaders who can help the industry grow, improve it, and drive it. These will be the "Avengers," the leaders who, with pride and perseverance, will position Pakistan prominently on the global economic map.
Naturally, digitization and technology will play a crucial role in all areas, with technical proficiency providing a significant advantage. As a result, my first option was to meet with Saquib Ahmad, the country managing director of SAP-Pakistan, and listen to him talk about his vision and the scope of the company as well as the fundamental Vision Pakistan.
In 2017, Saquib Ahmad joined SAP-Pakistan. He was the director of sales and business development at Oracle-Pakistan and Afghanistan prior to joining SAP. He previously held the position of Comptel's country director for Pakistan and Afghanistan. He started out in business with Nokia-Siemens, where he held a number of different positions, including sales director for the Middle East.
Saquib Ahmed has a degree in electronics and telecommunications from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore.

He brought intelligent networks with him and made them available to the telecom industry. The company was prepared to begin operations as soon as recruits were integrated. As part of the deal, recruits received job-specific training. He was soon in charge of his team's professional development. After each cohort, they were trained, and half of them left for better things.
Saquib Ahmed always puts himself to the test. He quickly realized that the company needed new leadership. He is of the opinion that by cultivating the ideal successor model, a competent leader ensures the company's optimal momentum. Personal gratification and ego must take precedence over the business. Leadership is characterized by maintaining growth rather than causing the business to fail as a result of a change.
The SAP was Saquib Ahmed's choice because of their slogan; Giving people the ability to change their lives; It was a little like his personal philosophy. He asserts that brand loyalty should not be confused with project loyalty. He thinks that growth must continue to be important and that what one does now must have meaning for many people in the future. Does he find old ideas to be a problem in and of themselves? "We cannot always be up against old ideas," he says. However, a defining strength is our willingness to accommodate and mentor new employees. We are no longer in possession of wisdom; It has mostly been transferred to machines, and it is true that the current generation is more adept at technology.
He asserts that technology has elevated a number of previously unimaginable fields of work, such as the culinary or anime industries, to a higher level of status. With online facilities and procedures, digitization has ensured senior citizens' and homebound natives' independence. Customers now include anyone with a screen.
Additionally, he elaborates on Pakistan's advantages. Although it does not possess oil or the most recent technology, Pakistan does have a young population that is intelligent and eager to learn. He believes that Pakistan's youth are its greatest asset. They will become an expanding resource for welfare and produce a larger landscape of opportunities in a world that is rapidly shrinking if they are given the appropriate training, grooming, and a strong Vision Pakistan.
He is of the firm belief that a person's character should be defined by their dedication to their country.
The dedication of Saquib Ahmed to his work is commendable. He thinks very clearly and is very committed to his homeland. He wants to help a lot of young businessmen, entrepreneurs, and future leaders and make a difference in their lives.
