AFGHAN TALIBAN CANNOT AFFORD TO OFFEND PAKISTAN TOO MUCH.
AFGHAN
The Taliban gave the world the assurance that they would not permit any militant group to use Afghanistan's soil to regroup, reassemble, or reorganize in order to carry out attacks against other nations when they signed the Doha Agreement.
For forty years, Afghanistan has been at war, and Afghans have been punished for crimes they did not commit.
In terms of the "war on terror," Osama Bin Laden, who is thought to be the mastermind behind 9/11, was an Arab nationalist who came to Afghanistan and used the country's soil to attack the United States. After that, a two-decade history of suffering, violence, destruction, bloodshed, bouts of hunger, fears, and tears followed.
If both sides had acted rationally in response to the circumstances that arose following the attacks on September 11, 2001, this tragic event that resulted in a significant humanitarian tragedy could have been avoided.
The Taliban appear to have a soft spot for the terrorist organizations that use Afghan land to carry out terror attacks across the border, and the terrible nightmare of history appears to be unfortunately repeating itself.
After the US and NATO's withdrawal from Afghanistan and the Taliban's subsequent violations of their Doha Agreement commitments and assurances, the world has already abandoned the Afghan people.
Some of the actions that turned the international community against the Taliban's rule included creating a non-representative and exclusive government by marginalizing a large number of ethnic groups, suppressing all free speech, preventing girls from attending schools and colleges, and prohibiting all female lawyers, doctors, professors, and nurses from carrying out their duties.
ISIS-K, on the other hand, is a armed group with an ideological agenda that is present in many Arab and Asian countries. It is well-known for its total disregard for human life after its members committed atrocities in Syria and Iraq. Now, it is fervently working in Afghanistan to destabilize Taliban rule through attacks in order to gain space here and recruits to take over Afghanistan.
They have attacked the Taliban and broken their unity, which has caused the Taliban to become offended and join ISIS.
The Taliban appear to find it difficult to counter this serious threat and challenge.
Pakistan is ready to provide military assistance to the United States because the United States needs Pakistan's assistance more than ever given that the United States has no physical presence in Afghanistan, despite the presence of its targets there.
Pakistan is America's best regional option for carrying out strikes in Afghanistan to hit its targets, which is extremely detrimental to Pakistan and Afghanistan's relationships.
Due to our geographical proximity, we must jointly devise a win-win strategy for peacefully resolving the issue that excludes third parties. We sink and swim together.
