The future of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

The rights to life, liberty, and property are the fundamental promises that the sovereign state will make to the people, according to John Locke's social contract theory. However, the Western powers, led by the United States and India, go to great lengths to portray Pakistan as a failed state afflicted with internal problems like poverty, terrorism, and corruption. They overstate the extent to which the majority of people in the nation do not have access to food, shelter, education, or medical care.

Additional obstacles in the west include the unstable Afghan border and occasional tensions emanating from New Delhi in the east. Despite this, Pakistan's armed forces and ISI have successfully overthrown the terror group's foundation. Peace has been restored in Balochistan and other troubled areas. India's outspoken opposition to CPEC and China's OBOR or BRI stood out. The United States joined New Delhi. In relation to some recent terror attacks that also targeted Balochistan, sources suggested that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants based in Afghanistan may have entered Pakistan from Afghanistan. despite the fact that Pakistan is the target of constant efforts to isolate it completely, as the prolonged attempt to place Pakistan on the FATF grey list demonstrates.

Nevertheless, the nation was able to recover successfully. Sadly, widespread corruption, weak accountability institutions, the criminalization of politics, institutional disarray, and conventional personal rule are having a negative impact on Pakistan. It is essential to keep in mind that the country has been experiencing political instability as well as a rapidly worsening economic crisis since April 9, 2022, when the former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chairman of the PTI were removed from office by a vote of no confidence from the PDM, the joint opposition alliance at the time.

In this context, the nation's external enemies are also manipulating the PTI's undemocratic actions, such as public demonstrations, the government's brutal crackdown on the PTI, and the latter's "Jail Bharo" (court arrest) movement.

At 2,640 MW, the Thar Coal Power Project starts producing electricity: Khurram Dastgir The PTI and PDM attributed the current political unrest and severe economic crisis to one another. Khan maintains his support for early elections despite the fact that he asserts that the PDM uses delaying tactics. The Supreme Court, Lahore High Court, and Islamabad High Court are currently considering the election date and other issues related to it. In response to the delays imposed on the governors of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by the Election Commission of Pakistan, President Dr. Arif Alvi announced that elections would be held on April 9, 2023, in these two provinces. The announcement came on February 20 of this year. Currently, the country is experiencing a constitutional crisis.

Under the guise of so-called democracy, some irresponsible leaders of the PTI and the ruling parties have regrettably turned their political disagreements into political animosity. They have been rapidly registering cases and filing FIRs against each other by ignoring the country's multiple crises and challenges, including its continued reliance on developed nations led by the United States for financial assistance. On February 18 of this year, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif of the PML-N asserted, in addition to Imran Khan, that Pakistan has defaulted, that standing on one's own two feet was necessary for Pakistan to stabilize itself, and that the country itself is the source of our problems. The IMF does not have a solution for Pakistan's problems. Pakistan will become Sri Lanka, which has experienced numerous economic crises and severe political unrest since being declared in default, according to Imran Khan and a few analysts. Pakistan is not nearly as paralyzed as would make it a failed state like Somalia despite everything.

Ogra suggests that petroleum prices will "increase." It has a powerful army that, despite challenges, has successfully established the authority of the government across the nation. Israel and especially India are unquestionably waging a hybrid war against Pakistan, with the exception of a few Western nations led by the United States. Pakistan definitely has the best topography and strategic location: vast agricultural land, particularly in Balochistan, which produces a variety of crops and valuable minerals. The country has workers who are skilled. China, Pakistan's all-weather ally, has already stopped the evil plans of US-led organizations that want to destroy our nation. In addition, Beijing has provided Islamabad with strategic support through joint ventures that involve the nation's defense.

Currently, a new cold war has begun. Russia, China, Turkey, and Iran are leading a new group at the moment. Islamabad is likely to join this group instead of the western bloc led by the United States. The management of Pakistan's political system is a mystery. The solution lies in the hands of the nation's citizens, who keep it together. They are unquestionably motivated by patriotism, despite the country's divisions. As long as Pakistan's society remains strong, the country will never be a failed state.

It is anticipated that the Pakistan-IMF staff-level agreement will be completed in March.
